    Hi:

I am an infant on this forum....will be one month old tomorrow!

Anyway, I was wondering how rep points work. They sometimes go up by one point and sometimes 7-8 points per entry!

Although I tell myself I am not here for the rep, I find my self looking at my rep often.
    Regards,
    Vandan

    Re: Reputation

I read in another post about this that it depends on how long the person who is giving you the rep points has been registered with the forum - infants' points are only worth 1, but older posters can be worth a lot more.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

    That explains it. Thanks!

    Re: Reputation

It depends on the person's reputation power. Someone who has a high reputation power (based on their own rep score) will dole out more points per award than a new member (as previously stated, 1).
