Question about forum rules, code tags, formula tags

    Hello

It says to use code tags in the forum rules.

Does that apply to worksheet formulas as well? I figure it does.

What about the Formula Tags? One could think that they apply to worksheet formulas but I figure they don't. Are they just for mathematical formulas?

Re: Question about forum rules, code tags, formula tags

We have many kinds of tags, but the most commonly used are Quote tags, Code tags and the newly introduced Formula Tags.

You can use Quote tags [QUOTE]text here[/QUOTE] when you want to quote a particular text or formula or code which is present in some other thread / post.

You should use Code tags [CODE]Please [url=https://www.excelforum.com/login.php]Login or Register [/url] to view this content.[/CODE] when using vba codes.

You should use Formula tags [FORMULA]Please [url=https://www.excelforum.com/login.php]Login or Register [/url] to view this content.[/FORMULA] when using all types of formulae.

Hope this makes it clear. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Use code tags when posting your VBA code: [code] Your code here [/code]

Re: Question about forum rules, code tags, formula tags

Ok, CODE tags for VBA code
and FORMULA tags for worksheet formulas or mathematical formulas.
    Thanks for clarifying that!
