I've reported at least three of the WTS... threads from godonly. Others had, presumably, already been reported, as the icon was gone. As far as I can see, they're all still sitting there for people to see.

Pepe, following your link, "drives" me to the usual message to contact admin.
These days i have also reported these and many others issues and no result.
So, i stopped to report anything. There is no reason.

All reported issues go directly to the Moderator forum and are actioned. A Mod doesn't need to be online for you to report a post, and they will be handled as soon as one of us logs in. Our personal lives dictate when that will be, and we have been striving to add new Moderators that live in various time zones to support the forum around the clock. It's just not always possible.
Once resolved, the threads are marked solved and left in place for all Mods to see. I have not seen any reported post fail to be actioned/resolved in the past several weeks. You do not receive any notification it has been actioned/resolved, though.
Also, once a post has been reported by one user the Report Icon is supposed to disappear letting you know that it has already been reported. Occasionally two people will report it at nearly the same time, in which case the icon may still be visible and active for both (and we actually get a second post in the report thread when that occurs).
We appreciate the members reporting spam and other posts, and hope you continue to do so so that we can keep the forum as clean as possible.
Thanks!
I reported 4 threads this morning, all posted by godonly within a short space of time. I found it irritating that I kept getting the message that I had to wait 60 seconds between reporting posts - why is there this restriction?
Pete
No need to report more than one. A mod would routinely delete all threads by the OP in the course of banning -- it's an option when you delete a thread as spam.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
Just to remind you that the senders of the first two posts, was until recently moderators in this forum.
I personally think that they know all too well the procedures ....
We could, of course, choose just to ignore each and every one in the hope that someone else reports it/them. Or a moderator spots it/them and takes the initiative. I tend to report them all to demonstrate the scale of the problem, and so the moderator doesn't have to go looking for them. And, yes, the 60 second rule is a pain.
But then, what do I know?
if they are by the same poster then as shg said reporting one is all that is needed-mods don't have to search for the others as the vb software can just delete all posts by that user. there does however have to be a mod around of course-I can only apologize that work has kept me busier than popcorn on a skillet for the last week but I hope to be back on regular patrols now

if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
@JP: that is not the impression when there are half or dozen or more all lined up and looking pretty. Clearly, there is little point in anyone (me in particular) looking at the post(s), checking to see if they have been reported, opening up a message and sending it. I guess I will rely on the sure knowledge that someone else will have reported at least one of them and the mods will remove them all on the back of that message.
Kind regards, TMS
