    formula translator

    some might find this useful when op has a different language version of excel
    i may have posted this before .
    http://en.excel-translator.de/
    its easy to use and has a 6 language instruction choice
    but translates from/to many more
    you can also specify separator as , or ;
    eg english to dutch
    eg
    IFERROR(INDEX($A$13:$J$13,SMALL(IF($A$13:$J$13<=SMALL($A$13:$J$13,5),COLUMN($A$13:$J$13),""),ROW(A1))),"")
    becomes
    ALS.FOUT(INDEX($A$13:$J$13;KLEINSTE(ALS($A$13:$J$13<=KLEINSTE($A$13:$J$13;5);KOLOM($A$13:$J$13);"");RIJ(A1)));"")
    "Unless otherwise stated all my comments are directed at OP"

    Hi martindwilson,

    That is very interresting. Never knew about that. Does Excel make provision for other languages as well, and if yes, which ones?

    Re: formula translator

    Hello,

    thanks for recommending the Excel-Translator (I am the author)

    The online translator tool translates functions and formulas from one language to another (available for Excel).
    Please use the options to replace commas by semi-colons and vice versa and/or also translate the arguments
    for the CELL and INFO-function.

    The website itself lists the translations for all functions and is available in 18 languages. However, as I do not
    speak all languages not all texts on the website are translated. If you speak one of these languages and are
    interested to support me, please drop me a message.

    Of course, feedback is well appreciated. Thanks.

    Regards :-)

    Re: formula translator

    Been using it for a few years now. Excellent tool, both for posting on non-English language sites and also occasionally here as well, if an OP is struggling to translate the formula into their language themselves.
