How to mark thread as SOLVED

Hello Forum,
I recently posted a thread for help and received a working solution.
but to abide by the rules here and to mark my post as "solved", i am not sure how to do that exactly.
I saw somewhere it said i can use the "thread tools" but do not know where those are located.
I marked my thread as "solved" by editing my original post and putting the word SOLVED in brackets in my post title.
Is this the way to do it? and where are the thread tools?
I see this, is this the "thread tools"? if so, i dont see a "solved" button.

Thanks Paul, but the link you posted gives me a "Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator." message when i click on it....?

Check this one. Also, there is a way to attach files as well: Go advanced - Manage Attachments -
