Inconsistency in editing/accessing text hyperlinks in Word
I have several word documents that have text hyperlinks in each of them.
When I right-click on some of them, a list of options pops up including Edit, Select, Open, Copy, Remove Link. But when I click on others, I do not get these options.
I know they contain links behind the text because when I hover over them, the URL pops up.
Why would this happen? How can I resolve this?
Try pressing Alt-F9 to expose the document's field codes. All hyperlinks should convert to something like '{ HYPERLINK "hyperlink path" }'. If the others don't convert or don't start with '{ HYPERLINK', they're not hyperlinks, regardless of how they're formatted.
