Calculate total of all table cells except for one?

I have a Word document with a table. The table as 6 columns with numbers, plus a 7th column for totals. The problem is that if I use =SUM(LEFT), it calculates the total of all 6 columns, but I do not want it to take the 1st column into account. Is that possible?

Dont Word tables reference like Excel therefore cant you do =SUM(LEFT)-A1 or for that matter =B1+C1+D1+E1+F1?
