Help request to align the picture center in web layout

    Hi friends,

I’m sending mails using mail merge. Everything except the picture alignment is working fine.
In the main document the picture is align centered.
While mail merge the page layout change to web layout.
At this time the picture aligns left which I want align center as the main word document.

    Any guidance is highly appreciated.

Waiting for guidance eagerly to solve the problem.

    Thanking you.

    Sincerely,

When you merge to email, as opposed to attaching a document to an email, you sacrifice control over the placement of images and the like, since emails don't have a defined page width.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you.

So what is your advice for ...

Should I use mail merge to send mails or not?
Should I use mailing directly from excel and attach a pdf attachment?

    Which is the best option?

    Thank you.

Re: Help request to align the picture center in web layout

The choice is yours. If emailing pics without centring is OK, stick with what you already have. If you decide you need to send attachments then, of course, a different approach will be needed. Whether that means emailing directly from excel and attaching a pdf or word document or using a macro-driven mailmerge to send the emails and attach a pdf or word document likewise depends on what you want to do. For the latter, see: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/...ttachments.htm
