    Formulas in Word doc

    Is there a way to do a formula in Word similar to an Excel formula?

    For example, I need the sentence below to auto-update the "weekly breakdown" by dividing 70,000.00 by 52 weeks and returning the value of 1,346.15.

    "annual total cost is $70,000.00 and the weekly breakdown is $1,346.15"

    Yes, you can do this in a table. To give you details I would have to see your layout.

    The idea is that if you have 70,000 in a table cell, in the cell to the right you can go to Layout > Formula and insert =SUM(LEFT)/52 and you will get 1,346.15.

    It's pretty rudimentary compared to Excel but you can do some common things.

    You can also embed an Excel object right into Word and have the full computational power of Excel available in that table.

    Oh, sorry, you want it in a sentence. I don't that's possible outside of a table. You would probably have to write some kind of macro to do that.
