How to insert page number in MSoffice word

Hi,

I want to insert page number on the header and also in the footer page number
of next page.

How can I do it to show this number automatically.
For example i want to write on page one header 1 and in footer 2 on first page and want it automatically numbered on page 2 as 2 on header and 3 on footer.likewise on page 3 on header and 4 on footer.

Is it possible automatically in msword2000. If yes How.
