Hi!
I'm trying to create a footer that will include a sentence, but also a page number.
At the bottom of the page I want it to read something like this:
The above statement of comprehensive income should be read in conjunction with the accompanying notes

And just to complicate things, I want the page numbers to start at a specific page (not the 1st page) with page 5
Any and all help will be appreciated!
Word 2007
At the bottom of page four:
Menu:Page LayoutSection Break,You are now on page five:Next Page
Menu:InsertFooterMenu:NavigationDeselect "Link to Previous"menu:Header & FooterPage Number DropdownInsert a line above the page number and type in your desired footer text.Bottom of Pageselect desired locationFormat page numbersStart At: 5?

protonleah: the post is in 'Word Formatting & General', so it's reasonable to suspect the OP actually wants an answer that applies to Word, not Excel!

Those instructions are for Word ... I had Word open as I stepped through the sequence...
Your (now edited) post said Excel... I must admit I didn't read anything beyond that, though.
