Hello. How's the weather over there in India? I love Indian food. Yum, yum!

If I understand you correctly, you have successfully merged data from excel into a word document. Now you want to merge additional data into this document from a word document.

Can the additional data just be dumped in a block in your document? If so, from your newly merged word document, you could activate a macro which would create a new (second) document, connect to a data source, create the necessary merge fields in the new document (or add them from a building blocks entry), merge the data into a new (third) document, copy the contents of the third document to the clipboard, close without saving these last two newly created documents, and dump the clipboard contents into the insertion point of the your original document.

It may help if you describe your needs in greater detail.

    Good luck.
