    Barcode with MS Word

Is there a function in MS word to integrate a barcode (code 138). Like a 9 digit number converted to a barcode automatically?

As far as I know it's simply using a barcode font.

    Re: Barcode with MS Word

Some barcodes (eg 3 of 9) can be generated directly from the input values, by applying the barcode font to them; others (eg 128) require the use of an algorithm to convert the input values into an output string for barcoding.

So, the correct answer it: It depends.
