pls help me in copy data from excel to word

first i'm new user for excel 2010 i need to copy many names (about 5000 name in many cells in excel format ) to 5000 card name in word file .

i need to put each name from excel file to each card name in (name place) one by one automatic or what ever way to do that.

with normal way copy and paste one by one will take big time and more effort.

i know from frined we have a way to do it in one step but he did't know and me i don't know how to do it with macro or otherwise???

please help me to do this.

Perhaps something like Word's Mail Merge feature?

i need to copy this names to many (id cards)
i have id card form in word file
i need to copy this names from excel file to name place in id cards -- 5000 name for 5000 cards

like this

name 1 : adam adam ---- to name place in card 1
name 2 : kriste ---- to name place in card 2
name no 5000 to card no 5000

in my excel file i already have 5000 names.
in may word file i have only one id card form.
