    Requery the Datasheet

    I'm very new to Access.

I have a query that requires an input, and I'd like to re-query with a new input without having to close the datasheet and double click the query again. It'd be nice if it would close the previous datasheet as well, but that's a secondary concern. How would I do this? I haven't been able to figure this out with Google or this site's search function.

    Thanks for your time!

You should be doing data input through Forms. You can write VBA to requery a control in a Form. Tables are repositories of data. They should not be accessed directly. All data should be entered through forms which are bound to tables.
