I'm very new to databases. I am not sure if this works. I have two tables.
Table 1 contains 3 fields: Part No (Primary Key), Description and Type.
Table 2 contains 2 fields: Part No (Primary Key) and Color
I have the Part No in Table 2 configured as a List box and linked to the Part No in Table 1 where Table 1.Type = "X".
I'd like to know if there is a way to have a "Description" field in Table 2 that will only display the corresponding Description of the Part No. I know I can create a new table with all the information I'm looking for. But I was hoping I could just modify Table 2 since it would be easier overall in the long run. I hope any of that made sense.
