Exclamation queries to sort be dates input into the form, access 2007

    Hello,

I am looking for assistance with access 2007. I am trying to create a form that is called from a command butto on a different form. The form called should have 4 key options. A from date box that has the calender attached, a to date box with calender, a button to retrieve results based in the date range and an export to excel form option.

If you have any information on how I can accomplish or learn how to do that I could REALLY use the help. Please submit anything you have on here, email me at ********* or contact me on Skype.

    Thank you,
    Leslye

    Leslye,
I have removed your email address from the post. It is not a good idea to publicly post your email address. Spammers love that. People who want to reach you, can do so through PM.

As to your issues, what have you tried to do in building the form and creating the button to open the form?

You can use the wizard to insert a button to open a new form. You do have to have the form built first.

Have you tried building the form you require? What issues have you encountered. We are here to help you, but not do your work for you. Learning is best achieved through first hand experience. Let us help you, but give a starting point on what you have done. If this seems a little harsh, I apologize. It is not meant that way, but to help you learn.

Do you need a tutorial on building forms?

    Hi Alan,

Thank you for the information. I have started to build my form. I am not looking for anyone to do my work for me. I am requesting information to be able to learn. I have not been able to find any really GOOD tutorials on any VBA excel or access. It has been very frustrating. Even the sources posted in the forum jumps to the middle of coding and form creating I have not been able to find solid How to information that assistis in teaching step by step. That is the issue I have been fighting with. I know enough to get started but I would like to learn how to navigate access 2007, Read and write coding comprehensivly in access and excel 2007 and everything that surrounds the two.

If anyone has any information on Coding or form creating in access 2007 or excel 2007 please post sources.

    Thanks again,
    Leslye

Here are two good sources for tutorials. I would start with the first one and then look to the second one for reference. If you have not read the third article, I would do that first to understand the set up of a database. Post back with specific questions.

    other good resources include:

    http://www.w3schools.com/sql/default.asp

This should get you started. Good luck and as I said earlier. We are here to help. Post back with specific questions.
