Basically at this time I just want to know if this is feasible or even do able? Ill figure out where to go from there.
So to start things off I have a form that must be filled out by our employee's everytime we see a patient charting things such as weight/blood test/stds and other data including insurance, and how much time was spent with the patient by each of the staff. Currently this is all in paper formed and filled out by hand everytime wasting about 5-10 minutes per patient for paperwork alone that could be better spent on patient care. I want to turn this into a digital form that will pull information from the last visit so it can just be updated before saving. now the catch is I have to save all the previous versions for state audits. I also need the newly saved forms to be held somewhere until I can access them and update the information in the states system then close out the form per se to be saved in an archive.
I know my explanation is a little confusing if you need clarification on anything or have any idea if this is possible id appreciate it
Id also rather use Excel for the Form rather then access since I can restrict what exactly goes into each box with data validation, If this is also possible with access and easier ill learn how to create the custom forms on there.
Lastly Im an access noob who has no idea how it works, I just want to know if this is possible before I invest time and resources into learning the program.
