How to create a chart that auto updates data as well as ranges?

I would like to have a data source and some drop down list for dates as well as other data. 1 drop down will be for a beginning date and the other for an ending date... see attachement.

The ultimate goal is to have a table that pulls the data according to the selected date range and provides a line chart that reflects that information. This chart must update automaticly and not requier any chart fixing.
