I want to create a chart which only updates when

I've got a chart which utilizes two different sets of user defined data depending on a drop downbox selected.

I want the chart to update only when all the user defined fields have been updated.


Ideally I'd like to do it when the user clicks a defined button but I don't want to use a macro.


Solutions or suggestions would be much appreciated.
