Live updating order timeline chart

Hello all,

Looking for some insight into a chart idea. I have a spreadsheet that tracks incoming orders based on time throughout a week. For example, an order is placed, we enter the order # and the time it was placed (among other order details). I would like a timeline column chart that updates with each new order entry - 24 HR time along the X axis with the amount of orders on the Y. The goal is to see along a chart the busiest order periods based on time. Ideally, the chart would update with each new entry without the need to manually build it.

Does this make sense? I attached an example of the basic chart I'm looking to build. I appreciate any insight!

HI jservos and welcome to the forum,

Charts aren't my strength and this took WAY too long to figure out but I got it!!

Find the attached that works for what you want but took me about 20 tries and a lot of reading to get.

The secret is to not edit the big range from where the data come but to go below that and edit the two individual ranges. I created two dynamic named ranges before even starting on the chart.

Why you need to use the workbook name is beyond me.
