Divergent Stacked Bar Chart - problem with 5 point scale

    Firstly,

Apologies if this is repetitive but i've looked at other threads and still can't resolve the issue. My stacked bar graph looks very busy so i've attempted to convert it to a divergent stacked bar chart, however I can't get the neither agree/disagree to sit evenly over the 0.

When I try to split it I end up with one half at zero and the other half after disagree. And I can't seem to get the formula to work either.

I've attached a sample to the stage I seem to be able to get to before the problems start.

Appreciate and advice on this matter. From a frustrated student.

    Thanks

You have to change the order of the 2 negative series and the stack beings from zero working out.

This means you will need to either create another chart of the legend or add/delete dummy series to make the legend read correctly (rather than accurately)

So should I split the neither agree/disagree into 2 columns and then just delete one of them from the legend?

    Sorry if this sounds stupid!

    Thanks

I have left the legend item in so you can see what I mean.

Select the legend entry and delete to complete chart.

Re: Divergent Stacked Bar Chart - problem with 5 point scale

    Hello again

I've split my neutral category and intended to remove the buffer legend, however I can't get it to sit at the negative side of the zero in the chart. It sits to the higher end of the negative percentage. I've tried moving it around but to no avail. Would be really grateful for any help in rectifying this.

    Thanks
