Ok so this probably a bit weird but I am playing a space trading game called Elite: Dangerous, this game has a realistic map of the Milky Way galaxy (all 400 billion stars).
Of all these stars there are 105 that I want to visit in a loop so I want to plot the best route to do this. I have the X,Y,Z coordinates for each system and have created a 2D scatter chart from the X,Y values which I was able to label the points with a plugin I downloaded, but the extensive range of Z values makes this void.
I also found a plugin for a 3D scatter graph but it's hard to view in 2D.
I realise Excel is probably not the best program for this, but is there a way to create a rotatable, 3D scatter graph where the points can be individually labelled that doesn't cost thousands of dollars?
