Creating A Meeting Schedule in Pivot Format

    Hi,

I've been given a schedule of dates for various meetings throughout the year and I would like to present it in a more readable format. What I was hoping to create is a pivot with the month across the top, the meeting type and department down the left hand side and the date that the working papers are due and the actual date of the meeting in the data area but i'm struggling to achieve this. I'd be grateful if someone could show me the light or suggest an alternative approach?

Attached is an example of the data that i'm working with. If you have any queries just give me a shout.

    Thanks in advance,

    Snook

    Hello Snook

Take a look at the attached reply. Is this close to what you want to achieve? I've turned your data into a table so it all updates with the Pivot without having to adjust the ranges.

Thanks DBY, I managed to achieve something similar but where there is multiple instances of a similar meeting it sums the dates, e.g. Monthly Review for Finance in June. I would need a solution that shows these dates separately.

    Regards,

Yes, sorry I didn't notice that. I've attached an amended Pivot. Does this work?

    Hi,

See attached file with a dynamic schedule; you can select a start date, define the scale in days, weeks or 4 weeks.
More features are defining pioritity, status and dependency.
