Display Chart values in Thousands (and keep data as full number)

    Hi,

Is if possible to have the Data Table at the bottom of your chart display figures in thousands, whilst keeping the source data as the full number?

e.g. Data Table in chart will show $2,443.56 and actual data would remain $2,443,557.00

Hoping you can help - I dont want to have to divide my source data by 1,000

    I'm using Excel 2010

    Thank you!

In format axis you can change the display units to show thousands.

    Hi Nigel,

I came acorss that site earlier. Unfortunately, it doesn't change the data in my Data Table, just the y-axis.
Do you know of a way to change the data in the Data Table?

    Thank you

You can change the number format to "0," (Zero comma). This will make the numbers all look like thousands.
