Excel Data date vs Pivot Data date

Greetings, i would like to know is there a function to make my pivot table date to follow exactly like excel table format.

You can format the date field in the pivot table then, in "Pivot Table Options" tick "Preserve cell formatting on update" to save the format.

Could you split the date into 3 columns in the source data (day, month, year) then use these 3 fields on the PT to filter?
