Pivot table - "show values as" - trouble getting the correct "% of row" totals.

I have a Pivot Table with values:

    Hats Shirts
Jan Feb Mar Total Jan Feb Mar Total Grand Total
    25 30 45 100 40 65 70 175 275

Jan has 65 items with 25 hats and 40 shirts.
I want Jan Hats to show 38% (of the total Jan items) and Jan shirts to show 62% (of the total Jan items) for a total of 100%.
In the "show values as" option in the pivot table I've tried the % of row total, % of parent row total, etc. but can't get it to show the correct percentages.

How do I get the pivot table to show the percentages below????

    Hats Shirts
Jan Feb Mar Total Jan Feb Mar Total Grand Total
    38% 32% 39% 36% 62% 68% 61% 64% 100%

    Thank you in advance.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Here is the example of the pivot table with total number of items by month.
In each month I want to show the % of hats and the % of shirts as a % of the total for that month.

    See attachment.
