Activity each month per person or weather chart

Dear all,

I have been trying to creat a chart similar to my uploaded file with the values on the file for each month but without success.
What I want to create is a chart with the months on the X axis and the number of times the person or weather is active on that month on the Y axis.

Could you please help me to think straight and figure out how to do this possible?

I don't know what you mean by the "weather is active". Can you please explain what you mean by this?

The attached file shows the count by people by month. You can see this formula that I've used in cell J24:

=COUNTIFS($E$5:$E$113,$I24,$D$5:$D$113,J$23)

which is then copied across and down. This table then forms the source data for the graph.

Is that the kind of thing you were looking for?
