Histogram shows negative value where I dont want it

Dear all,

I have made a histogram of a budget where the total budget of each component appears in blue and the part of the budget that is spent is shaded grey at each bar of the histogram.
In one case, the "spent" is larger than the allowed total budget. it then shows the bar all in grey, AND it gives some negative values in blue (which I don't want). How can I go around this problem and get an all grey bar without any negative values showing?

You will need to change the values in the spreadsheet. Depending on what changes you are allowed to make, I could see adding some helper columns specifically for the chart. A formula like =MAX(current_value_that_is_sometimes_negative,0), which will force all of the negative values to 0. Then use that column in the chart, instead of the actual "spent" or "budget-spent" column.
