    Dynamic Quadrant Issues

I'm trying to do a menu analysis where I plot the relative popularity of an item vs. the item's profit margin. The data points should be plotted on a quadrant having a y intercept of the average profit margin (k31) and an x intercept of 80% of the average item popularity (cell I35). I can't seem to come up with a presentable chart that accomplishes this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be graphing the average profit margin vs. relative popularity.

If I'm leaving out any pertinent information please let me know and I'll correct it.

File is attached and thanks in advance of any help!

You can add series to draw the lines. You will need to fix min/max of the axes so the line reach the end of the plot area.

    This looks great. Thank you!

Did you have a general strategy in choosing the maximums for the axis? I'd like to make that a formula as well in case the data exceeds the values so your strategy would help me do that.

Also, how did you format the axis to get them flush with the boundaries of the plot area? Each time I tried to make axis in this fashion, the plot area would extend beyond the reach of the axis I created. This looks much more professional, obviously.

As I said in order for the quadrant lines to touch the edge of the plot area you need to fix the scale min and max values.

You can not link the scale to a cell value. The only way for the chart to determine and set scale range from data is with VBA code.
