After leveraging some of the amazing work from experts on the net, I have managed to create the attached project timeline chart and table, which allows the workers in my office to chart where they are with certain projects. If I move the tasks down to a later date, then the movement is mirrored on the chart so we know where we are.
The Issue
However, being as office worker types are very demanding, I am being asked to add a couple of things if possible, but despite my efforts I have had no success.
What I want
1. Would it be possible to add a vertical line on the chart that will automatically highlight today’s date?
2. When I change a task’s status to complete, the task turns green on the table. Is there a way for the chart to display the completed tasks also as green (in line with the table)? I’m guessing that making the chart’s tasks colours to reflect whatever they are in the table.
I apologise for making what could be a massive task sound like standard excel formula, but am extremely grateful for any help I can get.
