Currency Comparible Worth Analysis

Please can I use your expertise and know how to help me make the most of this.

I want to focus on specific countries based on their economy. This is somewhat subjective and requires a lot of fact finding. So I figured I could use a countries foreign exchange rate against the USD to highlight whether a countries currency is on the increase or decline.

My objective is to have a league table of countries. I will periodically add the latest quarterly exchange rates and then re run any calculations.

I would like to discount the older data and use only the last 12 months worth.

I guess I want to see an overall trend for the 12 month period if the currency is on the up or down.

Something quantifiable that can be sorted or visual would be helpful.

Apologies for rambling on, I would love you ideas on how best to use this data. Please see attachment.

Hi Tom,

I've used a Pivot Table to compare Sept 15 with Sept 16.
It shows the percentage increase / decrease for this period - please see attached.
Will this work for you?
