plotting 4 interdependent graphs in 1

    Dear all,

I would like to plot the attached figure in Excel. As you can see, it is a combination of 4 individual graphs that depend on each other i.e. if one graph changes, the others should change accordingly. I was wondering if and how this would be possible? From googling, I came across items such as "4 quadrant graphs" or "radar graphs" but I do not believe this would suit my needs as there does not seem to be some form of interdependencies between quadrants.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks example.png

Re: plotting 4 interdependent graphs in 1

What I see in the picture is a basic X,Y scatter chart with multiple data series. If I understand the axis labels, the positive x axis displays the ratio of L/H, the positive y axis shows the ratio of wL/wH, the negative x axis shows the ration of Px/Py, and the negative y axis shows the ratio of Qx/Qy.

The chart itself is not going to handle the computations needed, so you will need to program them into the spreadsheet. It is not clear to me exactly what these computations should look like, but I would expect to see several x,y sets of data in the spreadsheet. With the desired ratios/values calculated in the spreadsheet, it should be a simple (if tedious) matter of creating the scatter chart and adding each data series (I usually prefer to use the "select data" dialog for this step.
