hi
is there a way a chart will auto update if i add a new line of data to a table?
I am monitoring something daily and rather than have to edit the charts selected data it would be great if it recognized a new line of data and added it to the chart

Yes, with help of table format it can be possible. Just Select your data and press control+T then check mark My header have text and ok. This will make your ranges expandable and will auto update your chart
