    Pivot only certain Items

    Hello:

    Please refer to attached file.
    I have monthly receipt data as shown in column A thru E when Column A is the month, B is the Store Name, C is Desc,D is Qty and E is the amount of sales
    I need to use Pivot table to give the result as shown in column J & K

    Let me know if you have any questions.

    Can't you just use filter?

    See attached.

    Other than that, to make things easier, you can add helper column to original table for filtering flag (using match or some other function depending on your actual workbook set up).

    Its easy to pivot and then you can filter the row labels to just display the values you want, however the results will be in alphabetical order, not the order you specified if that's important

    if the order is important in J6 put =SUMIFS(E:E,$A:$A,J$4,$C:$C,$I5)

    You might also simply drag them into the desired order in a pivot table.
