Plot points using the charts function

I am trying to plot points in excel using the charts function. I want it to place the point to scale along the X axis.

Right now using charts excel plots the points based on an X,Y number but doesn’t put them in to scale. i.e. if I want to plot the following 3 points.

Pt. 1 = (1,0)
Pt. 2 = (1.2,5)
Pt. 3 = (2,10)

Excel currently places a straight line chart that has no kink because it is placing Pt 2 equal distant from Pt 1 and Pt3 when in reality it is only 0.2 from Pt 1 and it is 0.8 from Point 3. Is there a way to have Pt 2 place at its actual location and show up as 0.2 from point 1 so that it is to scale?
