hide/remove certain parts of pivot table

    Hi All,

In my pivot table (attached file) I would like to show net sales for 2017 and 2018 as well as the target vs net sales.

But in the 2017 columns I would like to hide "target" and "2018 vs Target" while keeping these columns in the 2018 columns. Is this possible?

    Thank you very much.

Hi Kersplash, yes I just noticed the attachment is too large so I've made it smaller and have attached it.

You could just hide columns C & D.

Hi Kersplash, but what if I wanted to expand the pivot table? Is there a different way around this?

Do you have Power Pivot available to you?

I do not. I wish I did but I only have the regular pivot tools available.

In that case hiding columns I think is your only real option. You could always automate it.

Place the cursor on the first column. Right mouse button - expand the entire field
