Conditional Formatting Chart Points

Hello,

I need help please.
I have been searching the internet and cannot find this solution.
Column B is plotted on a chart as points.
I need the Item1 points to be Yellow, Item2 points Blue, Item3 points Red.
Column A & C are in the Horizontal Axis.
The Vertical Axis is a scale for the Column B numbers.
Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve.
The conditional colors need to be dynamic so as the data changes the colors change with it.
So, if I change A1 to "Item2" the point on the chart will change from Yellow to Blue.
Please help by explaining how to setup a chart to behave in this manner.

The usual approach to conditional formatting data in a chart is something like this: https://peltiertech.com/conditional-...-excel-charts/ Note that very little of this is actually in the chart itself. Most of the work is setting up the helper columns in the spreadsheet.
