Skill Level number from Dashboard don't want to appear / add up in pivot charts

    Good morning all

I can't seem to get the skill level results from my dashboard (column H) to work in my pivot charts.

Not sure why this is happening

If the Skill Level result is 4 the best I can get the chart to do is show 1 and not 4. I'm guessing this is just putting in the item number not the skill level result itself.

Would anyone know why this is happening?

    Regards

    Matt

Skill Level is stored as text in your source data. Change this to numbers, to allow aggregation in your pivot table.
let Source = #table({"Question","Thread", "User"},{{"Answered","Mark Solved", "Add Reputation"}}) in Source

    Select column Skill Level.
    Change number format to "Number".
Click Data > Text To Columns > Finish.
    Refresh your pivot(s).

Doh still didn't work, it changed the column H results to like 5.00 as an example and after refreshing the pivot(s) they remained the same.

That's what I did but didn't work so closed Excel and re-opened it and it worked

Very odd but its working now the pivots refreshed perfectly.

Thank you Olly for the video as well, very helpful to check what I did against.

    All works

    Thanks
