Cloned Pivot Table Reacts the Same Way As Original

    Hi Excel Gurus!

I have a question around Pivot Tables. When I clone an existing Pivot Table, any changes I made to the initial one is also reflected in the second one. Is there a way to disable this from happening? It just started happening suddenly... It wasn't like this before.

Thanks for the help in advance!

I have found that duplicating a pivot ties the pivots together, such that filtering one filters the other. To get around this, One must create a new pivot from scratch. Just don't copy/ paste the original pivot. I hope this helps

Thanks for your reply. There's no way to unlink the 2nd pivot?

What do you mean by any changes? Things like grouping fields will be reflected in any pivots that use the same cache, but filtering one pivot table should not affect another unless you are using a slicer that is linked to both.
