Attaching excel working with table & required output
Want to get this output using Pivot table so that end user can get resultant data using double click on Number shown in Pivot table
I tried creating using Calculated Formula option in Pivot table but unfortunately failed
not sure on your table headings v the data table
what are flags and new flags
you can use the filter to choose Y or N
But I need more explanation

Flags & New Flags is just a heading
Here New Flag refers to " Count of Type a (Column G) with specific stages
Exisiting Flags refers to " Count of Type b & c (Column G) with specific stages

maybe better to include those in the raw data and then pivot table , as not sure what the specific stages are

But if you entered the stages and nature , you could do with some countifs()
I'm sure your layout would be possible , with perhaps powerpivot, which i dont have in my version of Excel for Mac
