Sun path Diagram

Hello guys

It is my first time i post a thread to this help forum.

I want to plot the sun's path diagram in a polar coordinates .
I cannot attach any links ,images and videos to show you the form of this diagram (αs i am new to this forum) but you can search it online.
In order to plot the sun's path , you need two angles. The solar azimuth angle and the solar altitude angle.
The azimuth angle takes values in the range (0,360) degrees , measured from north .
The altitude angle takes values in the range (0,90) degrees . Sun altitude angle 0 degrees indicates sunrise or sunset and 90 degrees indicates that the sun is at the highest point of its orbit (zenith).
Depending on the latitude, longitude, day of the year and time, these angles change.
I have created an excel spreadsheet which takes into account the longitude , latitude and day of the year , and gives in two columns the above angles (for the desired day) , based on a time step of 10 minutes (from sunrise to sunset).
I have attached an excel spreadsheet , which contains tow columns with the aforementioned angles for a specific location and year. It also contains pictures with the form of the diagram i want to plot.
The are two types of lines in the diagram i want to plot.
The azimuth lines , which are radial lines starting from the centre of the diagram and ending at its periphery .These lines measure the azimuth angle of the Sun.
The altitude lines ,which are represented as concentric circular dotted lines that run from the center of the diagram out .These measure the altitude angle of the Sun.
Can you help me plot this diagram ?

Are you required to program your own strategy from scratch? If not, it looks to me like Andy Pope's Polar Plot add-in should allow you to create something substantially similar to this chart: https://andypope.info/charts/polarplot3.htm

If you are not allowed to use Andy's add-in, you should be able to start with my "unit circle" tutorial sheet(s) here to create this diagram. https://www.excelforum.com/tips-and-...han-excel.html (special attention to post #3 where my spreadsheet is based on azimuth/compass bearing angles). You will need multiple data series on a scatter plot where you have the main data for the desired sunpath, as well as additional data series for the axes and gridlines that you want to show. It looks to me like it should be straightforward, if a bit tedious to create all of the data series needed.
