Pivot table showing 0 instead of -

    Pivot table showing 0 instead of -

    When I add the total of the values in the file, it totals to 0. But when it goes into a pivot table, Excel represents this as a very small number and displays this as 0.00. I would be expecting to see "-" instead of "0.00" or "(0.00)" in other cases.

    You can use a calculated field using the formula =Round(Value,2)

    Thanks Sandy, I end up with (0.00). It is very puzzling considering that the sum of the numbers equal to 0.

    there are no formula in the values... They are a series of numbers with 2 decimal places.

    I'm saying use a calculated field in your pivot table. Decimals can always be problematic on computers.
