    Parent row subtotals next to each contributing row

    Hi there I know how to display subtotals in the totals column, but for a given subtotal, I want to display it in another column, repeated next to each row that makes up that subtotal.

    Since you have O365, why not move on from old, dead, non-updating Pivot Tables and use dynamic arrays instead.

    Delete expected results and use:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Of course, if you want to select binders and pens somewhere.. from a drop-down... that's easily added in.

    For a pivot table (most definitely not dead or old ), you can use the data model and add a measure like:

    =CALCULATE(SUM([Units]),ALLEXCEPT(tblSalesData,tblSalesData[Item]))
