How to group chart values by quarter?

    Hi,

    Hope all are well.

In attached file, in sheet "Pivot-Closed", when i select filter Group by month as Jan-Mar, the graph shows individual counts for Jan, Feb and March.

I want sum of all 3 in the same chart when filter Group by month is selected.

Individual counts should be shown when i use filter Closed Month.

    Can someone please help

I find the easiest way is to calculate with Power Query and then close and load to a Pivot Chart.

Mcode for Power Query. You can then filter for months in Native Excel

Power Query is a free AddIn for Excel 2010 and 2013, and is built-in functionality from Excel 2016 onwards (where it is referred to as "Get & Transform Data").

It is a powerful yet simple way of getting, changing and using data from a broad variety of sources, creating steps which may be easily repeated and refreshed. I strongly recommend learning how to use Power Query - it's among the most powerful functionalities of Excel.
