line chart with 8 variables and last value label

    hi Everyone,

In the graph I send in attachment I try to make the lines for the values from 2 to 8. I just have the line for the value of 1 (Blue One).
When I try to add a new value serie (for values from 2 to 8), it opens with values for "X" and "Y" (like the label for the last value), and I just need for "X" (just values).
How can I add the lines for the values from 2 to 8 ?

    thanks for your help,
    regards,

When you add data just fill in "Y" ... the X's are going to be as per first series.

Thanks for your help but doesn't result.
The date only appear in case 1 + 1 Mês. If you try in another one the graph don't show the dates but only numbers.

I think the line + scatter combination chart is making this more difficult than it needs to be. Here's what I did (starting with the file in post #1):

    1) Any text in in column AC to BR is going to make the chart harder to build. I clear the null strings from AD10:AD15, AH10:AH15, and so on across the range. I edit the formulas in AD, AI, AN, etc. so that they return an N/A error instead of the "#N/D" text string. I clear the year/month text in AF, AG, AK, AL, etc.
    2) Select AA10:BR82 -> insert line chart.
    3) Clear the data series from the chart that correspond to columns AE, AF, AG, AJ, AK, AL etc.
    4) Individually select the data series for AD, AI, AN, etc. and add data labels to those series to show the Y value to the right of the data point.
    5) Format chart elements as desired.
    6) If desired, I can repopulate columns AF, AG, AK, AL, etc with the year/month text.

Will that work for you, or are you required to use a line + scatter combination chart for this?

    Hi again,

If you select just "Série 1" and "1 Mês" the horizontal axis is correct with the dates.
If you try to select just another one (for example: "Série 11" and " 2 Mês") the dates don't appear in horizontal axis but only numbers.

Is that in response to MrShorty, or to me? Because it doesn't address my question.

    to you... (Glenn UK)
Hell I can't explain you better in English. Try do fill another serie that is not the "Série 1 + Mês 1" and see the diferents between them in horizontal axis. the serie 1 + Mês 1 have the dates correct the other ones don't.

You are wrong, the dates are correct on all the other series I added. See this for the series for column AH, which starts in exactly the correct place:CapMultiLine.JPG

Re: line chart with 8 variables and last value label

I notice that you removed the year/month text columns in the middle of the data, but you left the null strings and other error text ("#N/D" for example) in the source data. As I noted above, text creates problems for Excel charts, because Excel charts treat the text as if it has a value of 0. You need to replace the text with either a truly blank cell or the N/A error value so that Excel will ignore those cells (see here for detailed discussion: https://peltiertech.com/plot-blank-c...-excel-charts/ ). I also see that there are #REF errors due to external links to files that I don't have.

In the attached file, I cleared the error cells and the null string cells. I also edited the formulas to return and N/A error value instead of N/A or N/D text. That fixed most of the issues I saw. Then I added a 2nd pair of data series and data labels to illustrate how this works.
