Using pivot table slicers in shared spreadsheet

I have created a spreadsheet with a couple of pivot tables, which will be used as a shared spreadsheet on Sharepoint. I've used slicers so people can easily filter to see what they want to see, however I am concerned that slicers will amend the pivot table for everyone and if there are multiple people using the spreadsheet at the same time if will cause frustration. Is there a way around this?

I dont know much about sharepoint but Turn off the autosave feature for that file after they have opened it?

Re-opening this old thread to see if anyone has any ideas on how to do this without turning off autosave. It seems crazy that there would be a sheet view to filter the source data but not to filter the pivot tables.
