Excel graph pulling wrong values for the wrong date

Hi there, I have an odd problem that I can't find anything similar for. I have a graph that charts actual collections against a goal line for both dollars and invoice counts.

On the counts tab in the file I'm going to attach, it seens to be off one on the goals line. For 8/1 it's pulling the 8/2 value and so on always pulling the current date but the value for the next date all the way through.

I have tried select data and even removing the goal line and re-adding and it's still doing it. Oddly enough the goals values on the dollars tab are just fine.

Can you please tell me where I'm going wrong? Charts are not my strong suite. I'm still learning.

Hi Greg, you are correct in that one error but it doesn't seem to fix my issue. I still have the wrong values. Take this screen clip for instance. The caption on the one point says Goal point 8/2/2023 Value 679. But on the left you can see 8/2 should be 696. It's always pulling from one day ahead. Any ideas?

Hi, when I go to select data I see "=Count!$B$4:$B$44" so it's set to start on B4 not B5 on the counts tab. That seems right. But it's still pulling the wrong data. I'm completely at a loss here. Really appreciate your help.

When I open the select data dialog and check the definition of the Goal series, I see B5:B44. When I select the data series in the chart and check the formula bar, I get:

I'm not sure why your copy of Excel is saying that the range is B4:B44 while my copy of Excel is saying B5:B44, but I suspect that the problem is somewhere in that discrepancy.

In the spirit of standard Windows operating procedure ("have you tried restarting your computer?"), have you tried recreating the chart from scratch? If I select A3:C44 and insert a line chart, the new chart appears to automatically detect the correct ranges.
