auto count viseble cells with words

Hi all,

"We enter all the cargo damages we have into a spreadsheet. To evaluate the damages, we would like to be able to see the number of "P�k�rt," "Surring" and "Br�ddeholder" incidents. I can use a COUNTIF function, but it counts all cells and not just the specific ones. So when we look at the month of August or what Employee number, we would like it to show how many "P�k�rt" damages we have had, "Surring" damages we have had, and "Br�ddeholder" damages we have had, and not the total quantity.

I have tried =SUBTOTAL 103, but it cannot differentiate between whether it's "P�k�rt","Surring" or "Br�ddeholder".

Where in the workbook have you mocked up what you want to achieve? Please do so and annotate the mocked-up data for clarity.

Perhaps this will help:
1. Add another column, Include, to Tabel1
2. Separate the red rows from Table1
3. Populate the red rows using: =COUNTIFS(Tabel1[Fase1: Opsamling hos afsender],$F852,Tabel1[[include]:[include]],">0")
Note that in the attached file a date filter, this quarter, is applied.
