Pivot sort by date field without actually showing it

Hi all,

Anyone have a solution to sorting a list of - well, anything, but let's say cities - by the date field *without actually selecting or showing the date field* ...?

Or hiding it somehow ...??

Or using a "helper" field of some sort ..???

Much as I'd like to be, am not operationally familiar with Power Query.

Will put some time into looking at the tutorials.
